1. Acceptance of terms

By installing and using the SoundScope extension, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the extension.

SoundScope is published by SoundScope Labs.

2. Description of service

SoundScope is a Chrome browser extension that analyzes the audio quality of your streaming services in real-time. The extension provides professional audio metrics, spectrum analysis, and quality verdicts.

3. Plans and pricing

SoundScope offers three plans:

  • Free: Free of charge, basic analysis, 5-minute sessions, 5 metrics, 1 platform.
  • Pro: $3.99/month or $29.99/year. Advanced analysis, unlimited sessions, 27 metrics, 8 platforms, history, export, A/B comparison.
  • Studio: $7.99/month or $59.99/year. Everything in Pro plus studio-grade metrics, multi-track analysis, detailed reports, priority support.

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and may be changed with 30 days' notice.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro and Studio subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through the Chrome Web Store or integrated payment system. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled beforehand.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to premium features continues until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial periods.

5. Permitted use

You agree to use SoundScope only:

  • For personal and non-commercial purposes (Free and Pro plans)
  • For professional purposes (Studio plan)
  • In compliance with your streaming services' terms of use
  • In compliance with applicable laws

6. Usage restrictions

You may not:

  • Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the extension
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the extension
  • Distribute, sell, or sublicense the extension
  • Use the extension to record, copy, or redistribute copyrighted audio content
  • Circumvent technical limitations of the Free plan

7. Intellectual property

SoundScope, its source code, design, and trademarks are the property of SoundScope Labs. No intellectual property rights are transferred to you through use of the extension.

8. Limitation of liability

SoundScope is provided "as is." SoundScope Labs does not warrant that the extension will be error-free or continuously available. In no event shall SoundScope Labs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the extension.

Analysis results provided by SoundScope are indicative and do not constitute certified professional audio expertise.

9. Changes to terms

SoundScope Labs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the extension after modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of French courts.
